Matla
Matla is a companion for a Muslim's daily worship: a Ramadan fasting countdown for suhoor and iftar, prayer times with reliable reminders, a Qibla compass and an offline Quran. Everything is calculated on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers.

During Ramadan, Matla shows whether you are fasting right now, how long until suhoor ends and how long until iftar, with a countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on iOS and on the home screen on both platforms. Reminders for suhoor, Fajr, iftar and each prayer are scheduled on your device.
Prayer times are computed locally from your location (or a city you pick) using a calculation method you choose. The method, madhab and any high-latitude rule are always shown on screen, because authorities legitimately differ and your mosque may follow a different convention.
The Quran reader works fully offline with the Uthmani text from the Tanzil project and an English translation by Talal Itani. Bookmarks, your last-read position and search stay on the device.
Matla is a worship companion, not a source of religious rulings. Hijri dates and the start of Ramadan are shown as estimates until you confirm the announcement for your region.

Five daily prayers plus sunrise, with per-prayer reminders and adhan sounds. Exact alarms on Android so reminders fire on time.
Choose the calculation authority, Asr madhab, high-latitude rule and per-prayer offsets. The active method is always visible.
Direction to the Kaaba from your location, with a numeric bearing, accuracy indicator and calibration guidance.
Uthmani Arabic text with an English translation, bookmarks, last-read position and search, with no download required.
Today's Hijri date with an adjustment for local moon sighting, and notable dates marked as estimates.
